The Republic of Srpska

Representatives of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior conducted a two-day working visit to the Police Education and Training Centre of the Ministry of the Interior of Hungary, Department for Police Training in Szeged.

During the visit, the delegation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior met with the Director of the Police Education Centre of the Hungarian Ministry of the Interior and was introduced to the organizational structure of the Centre, education and training models in use, teaching staff, training programmes, as well as the teaching methods and technical resources used during the educational process.

The meeting also addressed the further improvement of cooperation between the two institutions, with a particular emphasis on the exchange of training programmes, as well as teaching staff and trainees.

In September last year, the Administration for Police Education of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hungarian Police Education and Training Centre, with the aim of strengthening the cooperation in the field of education and professional development, when their delegation also conducted an official visit to our Ministry.
