The Republic of Srpska

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, signed the Memorandum of Understanding with representatives of American companies. 

Minister Budimir said that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior was considering the purchase of several multi-purpose helicopters, primarily helicopters manufactured by companies from the USA, noting that one such helicopter was already in use by the Aviation Unit of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. 

He pointed out that the police also required the equipment for night surveillance and vision. 

 ‘’This is the best equipment on the market, which is one of the reasons why we are interested in this cooperation’’, the Minister emphasised.
