The Republic of Srpska

A delegation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, headed by the Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Director of Police, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, is on an official visit to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow.

During today's visit, the delegation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior met with the Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow, Mr Oleg Baranov, and his associates.

On this occasion, Minister Budimir and Head Baranov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow.

The first Memorandum was signed in 2015, while the new Memorandum further specifies the forms of cooperation in the areas of professional training, exchange of experience, and the implementation of joint training programs.

Mutual visits and cooperation between the two ministries have been a long-standing practice, and relations between the two institutions remain at a high level.
