The Republic of Srpska

On the second day of its official visit, the delegation of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, headed by the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Director of Police, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited the 1st Special Police Regiment of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow.

During the visit, representatives of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska were introduced to the organization, responsibilities, and operational structure of this special police unit. They were also presented with the work of the Tourist Police Battalion and the Mounted Police Battalion.

Particular attention was drawn to the delegation's visit to the Moscow Youth Anti-Drug Platform and the ”Phoenix” Assistive Technologies Centre.

The platform is a preventive initiative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation for the City of Moscow, aimed at educating young people about the harmful effects and dangers of drug abuse.
