The Republic of Srpska

 

 

Today, at the Training Centre of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, certificates were officially presented to participants who successfully completed the training course on ‘’Specialised Intervention’’. 

Instructors from the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) of the Republic of France conducted the training, during which participants acquired theoretical and practical knowledge on planning and executing the most delicate police operations, such as hostage rescue, terrorist attacks, precision shooting applied in special operations, and inter-unit coordination. 

The first part of the training was held in Mostar at the Agency for Education and Professional Training (AEPTM), while the second part of the training was conducted at the Training Centre of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.

The training was implemented through the Embassy of the Republic of France, Office of the Liaison Officer. In addition to members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, the Gendarmerie, and the Training Centre of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), the Federal Police Administration (FUP), and the Brčko District Police also attended this training.
