Mr Bojan Dabić, Assistant to the Head of the Trebinje Police Administration and representative of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, has successfully completed the 15th Class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, which concluded with a graduation ceremony held at the "Vojvoda Radomir Putnik" National Defence School in Belgrade.

Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, Mr Bratislav Gašić, presented replicas of medieval Serbian swords to the graduates of the 15th Class of the National Defence and Security Advanced Studies Programme, while ceremonial officers' sabres were awarded to the top three graduates of the 69th General Staff Advanced Training Course.

Congratulating the graduates of both the 15th Class of the Advanced Security and Defence Studies and the 69th General Staff Advanced Training Course on successfully completing their studies, Minister Gašić emphasized that the National Defence School rightfully bears the name of the Field Marshall Radomir Putnik, the first Field Marshal of Serbia, whose distinguished military career and personal example demonstrated that the highest standards of military professionalism are achieved through diligent study, continuous professional development, and flawless service to homeland.

"He passed these values on to generations of Serbian officers, preparing them for the highest command responsibilities. The National Defence School continues to nurture these values. It educates new generations of Serbian military officers and civil servants, equipping them with the knowledge and judgement required to lead responsibly and make sound decisions in times that will undoubtedly bring increasingly complex security challenges," Minister Gašić stated.

This year, a total of 23 participants completed the Advanced Security and Defence Studies, including 16 representatives of state administration bodies and Government services of the Republic of Serbia, three representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, two members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, one member of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Namibia, and one representative of our Ministry.
