The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Savo Minić, handed over today the keys to 20 The Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska, Savo Minić, today handed over the keys to 20 off-road vehicles “Toyota Hilux”, known for their exceptional durability, reliability and off-road capabilities, to members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit and the Gendarmerie of the Ministry of the Interior. The delivery also included 14 off-road vehicles “VW Amarok” and six vans “Ford Transit”, with a total value of BAM 4,610,904.
These vehicles provide essential support to members of the elite units in carrying out their duties, enabling mobility in difficult terrain, the transport of tactical equipment and reliable performance under demanding conditions.
The Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Željko Budimir, stated that, in accordance with the conclusion of the Republic of Srpska Government, the procurement procedures had been completed and contracts signed for the delivery of approximately 500 motor vehicles of various types intended for the regular operations and duties of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, with a total value of BAM 30 million.
The procurement also includes 40 vehicles “Škoda Octavia” intended for police officers in the field, with the value of BAM 2,415,840, which are being delivered on a continuous basis.
