The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, paid a working visit to the Trebinje Police Administration, where they held a meeting with the management of the Police Administration and the commanders of police stations under the territorial competence of this Administration. 

They discussed the security situation in the area of the Trebinje Police Administration where it was assessed as favourable, as well as activities undertaken by police officers to maintain a satisfactory security environment, along with current tasks and duties facing police members. The special attention was dedicated to work organization, operational procedures and further improvement of citizens’ safety in the territory under the competence of the Police Administration Trebinje. 

During the visit, the Minister and Police Director also visited a facility under construction intended for the needs of the Gorica Police Station Department and Gendarmerie Unit of the Trebinje Police Administration in the Gorica neighbourhood of Trebinje, with the completion expected by the end of this year. By constructing and putting the facility into operation, it would provide improved working conditions and capacities of police forces, as well as better equipment and more efficient performance of tasks and activities in east Herzegovina.
