The Republic of Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, met today, in Banja Luka, with the head of Višegrad Municipality, Mr Mladen Đurević. On this occasion, the participants of the meeting considered the significance of cooperation between the police and local community and the security situation on the territory of this municipality, which was assessed to be at satisfactory level.

During the meeting, the possibilities were discussed for improving the level of technical equipment as well as the joint projects that would contribute to the higher security level, especially during larger public events and tourist season in this part of the Republic of Srpska. 

Minister Budimir and head of Višegrad Municipality Đurević agreed that the continuous cooperation would contribute to raising the overal security level.
