The Republic of Srpska

Today, the representatives of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior met with the Project Manager of the “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye”, Ms Marica Bender, with whom they discussed the importance of previous cooperation and the implementation of joint training of police officers.

During the meeting, they highlighted the importance of the project in the field of apprehension through which the quality of training and work of police officers was improved. The project was accredited by 15 training managers from the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior that conduct training within the Ministry, as well as other accredited training managers among police officers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior insists on the professional and responsible work of all its members, with zero tolerance policy on any form of abuse of authority, breach of regulations or human rights violations.

For the incredible cooperation in the field of training and contribution to improving the work of the Ministry, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, made a decision to award the Certificate of Appreciation to Ms Marica Bender. The Certificate was handed to her after the meeting.
