On 10 June 2026, police officers from Kozarska Dubica Police Station arrested a person from Velika Kladuša whose initials are Z.D. based on suspicion that they committed the criminal offence ‘People smuggling’. 

Previously, during a control of a cargo van, brand ‘Mercedes’, whose driver was the arrested suspect, 51 foreign citizens were detected in the cargo space. 

The Service for Foreigners’ Affairs was informed on the incident, as well as the Prosecutor’s Office of BIH, where the completed report against the suspect Z.D. on ’People smuggling’ is going to be submitted.
