By taking the ceremonial oath today, 188 graduates of the 10th Class of the High School of Internal Affairs successfully completed the final two years of their secondary education.

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Željko Budimir, stated that the graduates of the High School of Internal Affairs demonstrate that the Republic of Srpska, its institutions and the Administration for Police Education are capable of educating personnel who perform their duties and responsibilities in a professional manner and to a high standard.

"The majority of these young people will perform their duties successfully because their education has been longer, more systematic and of higher quality," said Minister Budimir. He assessed that the 10th graduating class of the High School of Internal Affairs was among the best since the school resumed its work in 2023.

"Some of these young people will continue their education at the Faculty of Security Sciences of the University of Banja Luka, while others will enroll at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies and the University of Defence in Belgrade," Minister Budimir added.

Upon completion of their education, the graduates will undertake an internship period, after which they will enter into employment with the Ministry of the Interior.

The Serb Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms Željka Cvijanović, congratulated the graduates of the High School of Internal Affairs on successfully completing their education and the beginning of an honorable and responsible profession.

She pointed out that they did choose to wear the blue police uniform, but that it was obvious that the uniform had chosen them as well.

The three best students of the generation – Tea Novaković, Milan Deurić and Sandra Ždero, were awarded decisions on employment with the Ministry, along with appropriate presents.

The best student of this generation, Tea Novaković, stated that she would continue her education at the Military Academy in Belgrade, the study programme of Engineering in Military Traffic.

Milan Deurić, who was named the best student of the 10th Class of the High School of Internal Affairs, said that he would continue his studies at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies in Belgrade.

The ceremony was also attended by the Director of Police, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, other senior officials of the Ministry of the Interior, the students' parents, and numerous citizens.
