THE PERSON WHO STOLE TWO MOTOR VEHICLES ARRESTED

Police officers from the Police Station Istočno Novo Sarajevo arrested and handed over to the District Prosecutor's Office Istočno Sarajevo for further proceedingswith a crime report about commited criminal offence “A Heavy Theft”a person whose initials are A. U., who lives on the territoryof Sarajevo Canton.
There are grounds for suspicion thatin the night between the 6 and 7 October 2015, and the night between 7 and 8 October 2015 the person stole two motor vehicles, a “GolfA2” located on the parking space in Spasovdanska Street, the municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo and “Audi80”, located in the Ivo Andrić Street, the municipality of Nova Ilidža.
In their field operational work the police officers discovered that an A. U. could be related to the commission of the aforementioned criminal offences so they performed the observation of persons in the area of the municipality of Novo Sarajevo, Canton Sarajevo and found the stolen vehicle “Audi 80”. In cooperation with police officers of the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of the Interior, the person was arrested and the vehicle was transported to the official parking space and returned to its owner.
During the crime investigation, the suspect confessed committing the criminal offence and stealing the motor vehicle “GolfA2” which he had hidden in the borough Alipašino Polje, Canton Sarajevo in the night between 6 and 7 October 2015 on the territory of the municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo. The investigation was performed with the consent of the Prosecutor and the found vehicle was returned to its owner.
