THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR AMONG THE BEST TEAMS AGAIN THIS YEAR ON THE WORLD POLICE INDOOR SOCCER TOURNAMENT

On this year’s World Police Indoor Soccer Tournament, held from 9 until 16 October in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, among 93 teams in the senior category, members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior won the 4th place.
On the Police Indoor Soccer Tournament, held in The Netherlands, 201 teams from 41 countries participated and they were classified in the four categories.
By finishing the group phase of the competition with six victories and one match that ended in draw, the members of the Ministry of the Interior won the first place in their group.
In the second part of the competition, in the last 32, the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior defeated the team from Hungary with the score 5:0, the team from Poland with the score 2:1 in the last 16, and in the quarterfinals, they won the team from Croatia with the score 4:3 after the penalty shoot-out. The team from Belarus was better in the penalty shoot-outs than our team, so we did not get to the finals. In the attempt to win the third place, our team was defeated from the Russian team from Saint Petersburg and we finished the competition on the fourth place.
The members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior repeated the success from the last year and represented the Ministry on this world sports event in the best possible way.
