DELEGATION OF THE REPULIC OF SRPSKA MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR HEADED BY THE MINISTER ENDED THEIR 7 DAY VISIT TO THE USA

From 3rd to 7th November 2015, a delegation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior headed by the Minister, Mr Dragan Lukač, was in an official visit to the United States of America. This visit was organised by ICITAP programme for Bosnia and Herzegovina and the US Embassy, within the ongoing project of modernisation and equipping of the Emergency operations centre of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
In the USA, the delegation visited the police of the Alexandria County, Fairfax County, Rappahannock County, and the FBI Academy in Quantico.
During the visit in Alexandria, the members of the delegation were introduced to the activities of the Department of Emergency Communications and the organisation of the police, and in Fairfax, they were introduced to organisation and methods of work of the Office of Emergency Management.
While they were visiting the FBI Academy in Quantico, the delegation visited the facilities of the Academy and made arrangements for the following training of the Ministry of the Interior staff on this prestigious academy.
On this occasion, Minister Lukač spoke with the US State Department Secretary of State deputy about the future programmes for the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
Also, during the visit to the USA, the delegation had a meeting with the management of the ICITAP.
