MEMBERS OF THE SPECIAL POLICE UNIT DEMONSTRATE THEIR SKILLS TO THE STUDENTS OF THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE BOROUGH OF TRN, BANJA LUKA

Today, members of the Special Police Unit visited primary school “Desanka Maksimović“ in the borough of Trn, City of Banja Luka. The visit of the members of the Special Police Unit was organised in order to introduce students to the Unit’s work, as well as to demonstrate tactical situations and equipment used in the activities of this unit.
On this occasion, techniques of police defensive tactics, exercises using police dogs, and tactical exercises of catching escaped criminals were demonstrated to the students.
In addition, the students had an opportunity to also see a part of equipment used by the members of the Special Police Unit in various conditions, so the climbing equipment, diving equipment, terrain vehicles, armoured fighting vehicle, weapons, and other equipment were presented to them.
In the next following days, members of the Special Police Units are going to visit several other primary schools on the wider territory of the City of Banja Luka, and on Monday, 16 November 2015, at the Administration for Police Education, they are going to participate in the activities related to Open Days, where members of other organisational units of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior are going to participate as well.
