MINISTER LUKAČ VISITING THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAKTAŠI

Today, in the town of Laktaši, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, met the Head of the municipality of Laktaši, Mr Miroslav Kodžoman.
During the meeting, they discussed the security situation in Laktaši as well as the issue of placing some organisational units of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in the barrack located in the borough of Zalužani, as well as in the barrack “Sanica”, located in the borough of Trn, both of which are on the territory of the municipality of Laktaši.
On this occasion, Minister Lukač spoke with Mr Kodžoman about plans to place the police station “Trn”, civil protection units and fire brigade in the barrack “Sarica”. They also talked about plans to build a centre for training of police officers, as well as placing certain organisational units of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in Zalužani.
In addition, Minister Lukač emphasized that security on the territory of the municipality of Laktaši was very good and that there was no need for citizens to be worried.
Mr Kodžoman pointed out that cooperation between the police and the municipality of Laktaši was on a high level and added that, in the following period, efforts would be made in order to solve the issue of ownership of the barrack in Zalužani in order for the Ministry of the Interior to be able to use it.
In the end, Minister Lukač once again referred to the security situation in the Republic of Srpska, and stressed that there was no need to panic and that the security situation was under control of the police.
