STRENGTHENING CAPACITIES FOR COMMUNICATION WITH MINORS

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is organizing a two-day workshop: ’’Strengthening capacities for communication with minors’’, which started today on the KozaraMountain. The participants of this workshop are the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior who are working with minors and representatives of all Administrations and Public Security Centers.
The workshop is organized as a forum, where the participants have a chance to exchange experiences and views on the topic: ’’Communication of police officers with minors’’. Also, through these discussions, the participants are going to be informed about typical examples from practice, which are going to be presented by the members of each public security center. The results from this workshop will be the basis for development of guidelines for further improvement of the work with minors.
The short documentariesconcerning juvenile delinquency and its manifestation are going to be displayed, and the participants will also have a chance to discuss them.
This workshop is held within the project ’’Justice for every child’’, which the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior realizes under the sponsorship of UNICEF, and with the support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
