Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr. Darko Ćulum, organised the 17th meeting of the senior officials of the Prosecutor’s Offices and Police Bodies on the strategic level. The meeting was attended by heads of Prosecutor’s Office of BIH, the Republic Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Srpska, Prosecutor’s Office of Brčko Distrikt, State Investigation and Protection Agency BIH, Federal Police Administration of Federation BiH, and Brčko District Police. During the meeting, they discussed the improvement of work and cooperation between prosecutor’s offices and police bodies in prosecuting cases of corruption and organised crime, as well as providing support to the prosecutor’s offices by police bodies. Particular attention was paid to trafficking and begging as a form of labour exploitation. The organisation and holding of the meeting was supported by the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BIH through the project ’’ Strengthening Prosecutors Capacities in the BiH Criminal Justice System’’.
