A CEREMONIAL PARADE ON THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA DAY

Today, members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior participated in a ceremonial parade that took place on the occasion of celebrating January 9 – the Republic of Srpska Day.
More than 2 400 members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, representatives of civil society, various republic administrations, associations, and organisations participated in the ceremonial parade.
The ceremonial parade consisted of the Colour Guard, 12 echelons of units including members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, the Gendarmerie Unit, the Special Police Force, and the cadets of the Police Academy.
In addition, six motorised echelons of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior participated in the ceremonial parade.
In the honour of the Republic of Srpska President, Ms Željka Cvijanović, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior Guard of Honour was set in array, and the Unit’s commander, Mr Vitomir Petričević, submitted the report to the President.
In addition to the Republic of Srpska President, the following persons were also present at the ceremonial parade: the Serb member of the BIH Presidency, Mr Milorad Dodik, the Prime Minister, Mr Radovan Višković, the Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ms Ana Brnabić, as well as other officials and citizens of the Republic of Srpska.
