Conference on Intelligence-Led Policing

| Banja Luka | Thursday, 05/03/2020

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior supported the policing experts from the Northern Ireland Cooperation Overseas NI-CO in organizing the Conference on Intelligence-Led Policing (ILP).
Law enforcement officials from across BiH will attend a two-day Conference on Intelligence-Led Policing. The Conference is supported by the British Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the intelligence-led policing project.
The event will provide the opportunity for law enforcement agencies to share experience on how to implement an intelligence-led policing model.  It will focus on how policing agencies can use criminal intelligence effectively to cooperate in combatting crime, contributing to public safety.
Participants from the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Federal Police Directorate, SIPA, Border Police, Brcko District Police and cantonal ministries of the interior will attend the Conference.  They will be joined by police officers from Serbia and North Macedonia.
UK policing experts have been working with BiH law enforcement agencies since 2016. The project has provided training, equipment and support for the implementation of an intelligence-led policing model in BiH.
