The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior hereby reminds the public that the Conclusion of the Republic of Srpska Emergency Situation Committee on limitations and prohibition of movement of people on the territory of the Republic of Srpska, defining the prohibition of movement of age 65 and more, and the prohibition of movement for all persons in the period from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. is still in force.

The prohibition of movement does not refer to health care providers on assignment, persons who are in need for medical assistance, members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior who are on assignments, other members of law enforcement agencies and organizations executing public powers, also on assignment.

Additionally, this prohibition does not refer to persons who hold valid certificates issued by their employer on the need for free movement for undisturbed execution of their work assignments and the persons to whom the RS MoI issues the certificate for free movement.

The persons to whom the employer may issue the certificate are defined in Item 5 of the Conclusion on limitations and prohibition of movement of people on the territory of the Republic of Srpska.

The certificate issued by the employer must contain the personal information about the employee (first name and given name, Unique Citizen’s Designated Number) for whom the employer decides it is necessary to have free movement for undisturbed execution of his/her work assignments and the validity of such certificate is March 30, 2020. Additionally, the certificate must be signed and verified by the employer. Along with the certificate, the person is obliged to hold a valid identification document.

The Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior issued the certificate on free movement to the persons who are not employed, but who address to the competent police station pointing out their need for free movement (for example, persons of age 65 and more taking care of older persons, persons with special needs etc.).

Any abuse of abovementioned certificates shall be severely fined.
