AGREEMENT ON DISPATCH EXCHANGE FOR FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENT POLICE WORK

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and Heads of BiH Border Police, State Investigation and Protection Agency, and the Brčko District Police, signed the Agreement on Dispatch Exchange for faster and more efficient police work between the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of the Interior of FBiH – Federal Police Administration, Brčko District Police, SIPA, BiH Border Police, and Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH.
The agreement will enable the parties to safely exchange dispatches in real time, which is extremely important for fast and efficient operational work of the police in the field. In addition, the application for safe exchange of dispatches was developed by the Administration for Information and Communication Technologies of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
The application itself uses public key infrastructure and encryption algorithms that represent international standards in this field.
Representatives of Federal Police Administration and Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in BiH were not able to attend the signing of the Agreement today, and they will sign it later.
