MINISTER AND POLICE DIRECTOR MET WITH SIPA DIRECTOR

The director of State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Mr Darko Ćulum, visited today the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, where he met with the Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and police director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević.

At the meeting, the cooperation of the Ministry and SIPA so far was assessed as adequate. Furthermore, the participants agreed to intensify the cooperation in the forthcoming period considering the migrant crisis in the country, especially in the field of investigations related to criminal offences in the field of human trafficking.

One of the conclusions of the meeting is also to intensify the joint fight of police agencies against all forms of organized crime – trafficking narcotics and weapons as well as criminal offences of aggravated murder. The aim of these actions is to additionally improve the cooperation in all other fields of countering crime in which the Ministry of the Interior and SIPA work together.
