THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR MARKED THE SLAVA OF SAINT ARCHANGEL MICHAEL

Today, in Banja Luka, on the occasion of marking the slava of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Saint Archangel Michael, the Minister of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, and the Police Director of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, laid wreaths at the Central monument for 782 members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.

After that, at the Memorial Church of the Saint Archangel Michael, at the Training Centre in Zalužani, the service was served for the fallen members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior. Minister Lukač pointed out that the heroes who gave their lives for creating the Republic of Srpska must never be forgotten.

‘On this day, as well, we must remember our heroes who created the Republic of Srpska, and their sacrifice must not be forgotten’, Minister Lukač said, and added that the Ministry of the Interior marked their slava this year modestly due to the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19.

Minister Lukač pointed out that the members of the Ministry adjusted to the work conditions in the times of COVID-19.

‘Unfortunately, there are members of the Ministry who are infected, but we manage to perform all the planned activities and complete tasks’, Minister Lukač said and congratulated slava to all members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
