CONFERENCE HELD WITH THE AIM OF ENHANCING COOPERATION IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CYBERCRIME

Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the Project of the Council of Europe and EU "iPROCEEDS-2", organised a conference on "Exchange of Information and Intelligence between Law Enforcement Agencies and Internet Service Providers" with the aim of exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation of all entities involved in the fight against cybercrime.

In addition to police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, the conference was attended by representatives of other law enforcement agencies in the country, representatives of prosecutor's offices and internet service providers, as well as the BiH Communications Regulatory Agency.

Some of the topics discussed at the conference hosted by the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior are the following: the challenges of cooperation between internet service providers and law enforcement institutions, the role of judicial institutions, and the importance of internet service providers in detecting and proving criminal offences
