SEARCHES AT TEN LOCATIONS AS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL OPERATION “ZAJAM“

Police officers of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior in co-operation with the Croatian and Slovenian police are implementing an international operation code-named "Zajam" to document criminal acts of economic crime.

On the orders of the Municipal Courts of Banja Luka and Prijedor, searches are conducted at eight locations in the Banja Luka area and two locations in the Prijedor area in order to document the criminal act of "Abuse of position or trust in economic activity by assisting" from the Criminal Code of Slovenia, which corresponds to the criminal act "Unlawful Conduct in Business Operations" of the Criminal Code of Republic of Srpska.

Searches of the sites are conducted with the persons of the initials D.D., Z.S., L.Z., J.S., E.V., B.S., T.S.D., Ž.B. and at one company premises in Banja Luka.

These persons are suspected of committing criminal acts in the area of the Republic of Slovenia, by enabling the extraction of millions of euros through their bank  accounts opened in Slovenia, Hungary and Austria, as well as through the accounts of their businesses.
