CO-OPERATION IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ORGANIZED CRIME MUST BE CONTINOUS IN ORDER FOR THE REGION’S POLICE AND PROSECUTORS TO RESPOND READILY

The Republic of Srpska Police Director Sinisa Kostrešević and BiH Organised Crime Prosecutor Dubravko Čampara spoke today in Belgrade with the Republic of Serbia's Interior and Justice Ministers Aleksandar Vulin and Maja Popović, Republic of Serbia Organised Crime Prosecutor Mladen Nenadić and Serbian Police Director Vladimir Rebić.
The meeting assessed that co-operation in the fight against organized crime must be continuous in order for police and prosecutors in the region to respond readily and be one step ahead of criminal groups.
Minister Vulin stressed that successful fight against organized crime cannot be achieved without firm and decisive regional co-operation and emphasized that operational co-operation and exchange of information in this area is imperative.
