Cadets of the XXII Class of the Police Academy and VIII Class of the Special Anti-Terrorism Unit of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, who successfully completed their education and on May 4 2021 started their internship, were promoted today in the Banja Luka Police Administration Headquarters.
The Republic of Srpska Police Director Siniša Kostrešević welcomed young colleagues, wishing them to honourably and successfully execute their jobs and tasks, protecting citizens and the Republic of Srpska.
He reminded that despite the corona virus pandemic and the specific quarantine conditions in which they underwent their training, they had successfully completed their education.
"348 cadets, 324 of them men and 24 women, 22 of whom successfully completed training at the Police Academy for the Special Anti-Terrorism Unit have started their internships in the police administrations of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior," director Kostrešević said.
Head of Administration for Police Training Mile Šikman stressed that the police training has three phases.
"The first phase is being implemented at the Police Academy where they had more than 700 hours of teaching classes. They are now in the second phase - a six-month internship, and after that they will work on passing the professional exam," Head of Administration for Police Training Mile Šikman explained.
