At the Republic of Srpska Institute of Public Health in Banja Luka, members of the Republic of  Srpska Interior Ministry were visited by Minister Dragan Lukač today and on this occasion he stated that more than 3,000 members of the Ministry have been vaccinated so far.

Minister Lukač cited that from the total number of vaccinated members of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry majority are police officers.

"More than 1,500 of them have received a second dose of the vaccine, and many more are awaiting vaccination. This is the best way to fight the pandemic, and it is especially important for members of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry, who are exposed to numerous contacts on a daily basis," Minister Lukač said, urging all members of the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry, as well as citizens who have not been vaccinated so far, to do so to protect themselves, their families and the environment.

Institute of Public Health Director Branislav Zeljković said the Interior Ministry is one of the Ministries that best organized the vaccination of its members.

"I hope that at the Interior Ministry we will cross 60% of the vaccinated, which would be a satisfactory percentage, given how important the Interior ministry members are to us in the functioning of Republic of Srpska," Zeljković said.
