V class trainees for members of the Gendarmerie Unit were presented with certificates

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior Dragan Lukač and Police Director Siniša Kostrešević presented certificates today at the Training Centre in Zalužani to the V-class trainees for police officers of the Republic of Srpska Gendarmerie Unit, who successfully completed three-month training.
Minister Lukač stressed that this process consisted of three segments: physical, tactical and fire training.
Referring to the training objectives, Minister Lukač said that in this way, the training of members of the Gendarmerie Unit serves them to successfully carry out any action, placed in front of them on the ground, as tasks on the territory of Republic of Srpska, i.e. to fight organized crime or prevent possible terrorist acts.
The Minister announced that the Training Center would soon begin training class VI, and that it would not stop there. He added that the importance of these trainings is also reflected in the creation of acquaintances and camaraderie, i.e. the connections that police officers need for future successful execution of tasks on the ground.
