Gendarmerie of PA Doboj unit gets land for new facility

The Republic of Srpska Interior Minister Dragan Lukač visited Doboj today, where he signed an agreement with Doboj Mayor Boris Jerinić to transfer ownership of the city's land to the Interior Ministry for the purpose of building a facility for the accommodation of the Gendarmerie Unit of the Doboj Police Administration.
Minister Lukač said this represents a great help for the Republic of Srpska Interior Ministry. He stated that the design of the conceptual solution of the future facility of the Gendarmerie Unit is the next step and after that the obtaining of the necessary permits for construction.
"The Police Administration in Doboj is one of the largest after Banja Luka, so these investments mean a lot to us in improving the work of the police," Minister Lukač concluded.
Mayor Jerinić said the City Assembly has given its consent to this agreement and the granting of land for permanent accommodation of the gendarmerie on an area of 5,226 square meters located in the immediate vicinity of the BiH Armed Forces barracks "Vojvoda Radomir Putnik". As a next project, he announced a permanent solution to the Doboj 2 Police Station in Ustanička Street.
Minister Lukač also visited the Doboj Police Administration for the talks with the Head of Administration Slobodan Radinkovic
