New Facility of the Police Administration Gradiška Opened

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, Head of Police Administration Gradiška, Mr Bojan Škorić, and the Mayor of the City of Gradiška, Mr Zoran Adžić, opened a new facility of Police Administration in Gradiška.
Minister Lukač said that the opening of the new facility created contemporary conditions for the police work. He added that they hoped that the Police Administration Gradiška would start to perform its work with special motivation and in accordance with the law, primarily to protect all citizens and everything that people in the Republic of Srpska value as a good life and decent standard of life. Furthermore, Minister Lukač noted that they would open Gradiška for all citizens who want to come and stay there to live in peace and security, and the police administration should serve as a guarantor.
Director Kostrešević congratulated the Head of the Police Administration and the Mayor of the City of Gradiška on the new facility of the Police Administration, expressing hope that it would contribute to even better police work in the area covered by this Police Administration.
Head of the Police Administration Gradiška, Mr Bojan Škorić, said that the new facility would improve the working conditions of employees at the Police Administration, but also the conditions for citizens in exercising their rights.
Before the facility was opened, Minister Lukač, together with Snježana Šikuljak, daughter of the fallen member of the Republic of Srpska Police, Milorad Šikuljak, unveiled a memorial to fifteen members of the police from the area of Gradiška and Srbac who lost their lives in the Defence-Homeland war.
After the opening of the new facility, Minister Lukač and Director Kostrešević also visited the Exhibition of police weapon and equipment as a part of the programme of celebrating the Republic of Srpska Police Day and the 30th Anniversary of the Republic of Srpska MoI in Gradiška. The means, equipment, and weapons of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, the Gendarmerie, and the regular police force were presented at the Exhibition.
