Signing the Agreement on Cooperation between the ministries of interior of Serbia and Srpska

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, signed this evening in Banja Luka with the Serbian Minister of the Interior, Mr Aleksandar Vulin, and the Rector of University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies, Mr Zoran Đurđević, the Agreement on Cooperation between the ministries of the interior of Serbia and Republic of Srpska and the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies.

„This Agreement represents another step forward in professional education of the members of the RS MoI, since it defines the education of RS MoI members, as well as other persons from the Republic of Srpska who are referred by our Ministry to education at basic studies of this University,” said Minister Lukač. He also thanked Minister Vulin for the support that the Serbian MoI constantly provided all these years in all work areas. 

„As long as Aleksandar Vučić leads Serbia, the Republic of Srpska will be our priority, and all Serbs, regardless of their residence, will be provided for and taken care of. Professional education and investments in the members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior by Serbia is only one way to present our care and interest in our brothers across Drina, and our efforts in development of the Republic of Srpska Police and the security of Serb people,“ said the Serbian Minister of the Interior, Mr Aleksandar Vulin.

The Agreement defines that the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies publishes the call for enrolment of candidates referred by the RS MoI for basic studies at the University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies, and that five selected candidates would be enrolled in the first year of basic studies in the school year 2022/2023 in the status of the student financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia.

In all school years in the future, the number of enrolled students in the first year of basic studies shall be subject to agreement between the two ministries.
