ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR MINISTER LUKAČ FROM THE VETERANS OF PRIJEDOR

Today, the President of the Veterans’ Organization of the City of Prijedor, Mr Zoran Predojević, awarded the plaque ‘Zlatni krst’, the highest acknowledgement of the Veterans’ Organization of the City of Prijedor, to the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Srpska, Mr Dragan Lukač.
The plaque was awarded by the Presidency of the Veterans’ Organisation on the occasion of marking the Day of military units of the City of Prijedor, as a recognition for exceptional contribution in the realization of programme goals and tasks of the Veterans’ Organisation, one of them being providing employment for the children of the fallen soldiers.
The representatives of the Veterans’ Organization thanked Minister Lukač for his support and cooperation, considering that during the Minister’s mandate, 155 family members of perished soldiers were employed with the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
Finally, on this occasion, Minister Lukač also received a copy of the Monograph of Military Units of Prijedor during the defensive and patriotic war 1991-1995.
