ABOUT 150 POLICE ACADEMY CADETS IN THE ACTION OF VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION

Today, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Dragan Lukač, Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the head of the Administration for Police Education, Mr Mile Šikman, visited Police Academy cadets who participated in the action of voluntary blood donation, organized on the occasion of patron saint day of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior - St. Michael the Archangel.
Minister Lukač said that the members of the Republic of Sprska Ministry of the Interior always responded well to similar activities. He pointed out that the aim of these activities was to help the Republic of Srpska Institute for Transfusion Medicine in restoring their stocks of blood.
Director of the Institute, Ms Gordana Guzijan, thanked the Minister and his associates for organizing this action, and added that lately, the consumption of blood components in hospitals had increased.
The total number of 150 cadets of Police Academy participated in this action.
