MINISTER KARAN VISITED FOČA

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, held today in Foča a meeting with the mayor of this municipality, Mr Milan Vukadinović. During the meeting they discussed joint preventive activities in the upcoming period, placing particular emphasis on emergency situations.
On this occasion, Minister Karan pointed out that, in case of emergency, it was necessary to undertake all the necessary measures and use all material and operational resources in preventing and eliminating the consequences.
“In case of possible consequences, we should do our best to minimize them so that normal life would continue. The latest reaction that all entities dealing with protection and rescue, as well as the reaction of the institutions and services at the republic and local level, should became the pattern and regular practice in the future, when we have any information on the possible natural disaster“, Minister Karan added.
They both agreed that their previous cooperation was successful.
On this occasion, Minister Karan also held a meeting with the Head of the Foča Police Administration, Mr Velimir Kostović.
Mr Kostović presented the security situation to Minister, which was evaluated as favourable. Namely, in the previous period there were no criminal offences that would disturb the public.
