TWO ARRESTED PERSONS CONDUCTED TO THE BiH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

Under the control of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office and within the planned operational activity on finding new evidence related to disclosure, identification, and detection of other unidentified members of an organised criminal group that was investigated in the operational action code-named ’’Market’’ for committing criminal offence of ’’Organised Crime’’ from Article 250, paragraph 1) of the BiH Criminal Code related to the criminal offence of ’’Unauthorised Traffic in Narcotic Drugs’’ from Article 195 of the BiH Criminal Code, police officers of the Administration for Countering Organised and Serious Crime of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior arrested two persons – M.K. (citizen of the Republic of Slovenia) and A.N.
Pursuant to the order of the BiH Court, searches were performed on several locations, during which a small amount of cocaine, a large amount of money, two pistols, a large number of mobile phones, parts of police equipment, and two passenger cars used for committing criminal offences were seized. One of the passenger cars had a concealed compartment used for the illegal transport of goods.
The person M.K. is accused of transporting a large amount of narcotic drugs over border crossings in BiH on several occasions, including 1 kg of cocaine seized in Banja Luka during the implementation of the "Market" operation.
A person A. N. is accused of taking large quantities of narcotic drugs from a person M.K. on several occasions in the area of Istočno Sarajevo and putting drugs illegally on the market. After the investigation, persons arrested would be handed over today to the competent prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
