ADOPTION OF THE DECISION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SECONDARY SCHOOL OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

The Republic of Srpska Government has adopted the Decision on the establishment of the Public institution Secondary School of Internal Affairs at its 14th session held today in Banja Luka.

The reasons for the establishment of the abovementioned school include long-term solution to the issue of human resources within the Ministry of the Interior, continuing the tradition of secondary education and enabling the continuation of police education at higher education institution.

Earlier on, the Commission for determining the fulfilment of the conditions for the establishment of the Secondary School of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska decided that the conditions for the establishment of the school have been met, considering the need for education in the profession of police officer - technician for police affairs. They also determined that the funds for the establishment and work of the school have been provided, including premises, equipment and teaching aids in accordance with pedagogic standards and norms. It was also determined the school has the required number of teachers and professional associates, and conditions for conducting practical classes, a gym and at least one outdoor playground.

The enrolment of pupils in the school year 2023/24 in the Secondary School of Internal Affairs shall be defined in accordance with the public call published by the institution.
