RECEPTION FOR 24 RETIRED MEMBERS OF THE MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, said today that meetings with the retired members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior prove that there was a tendency to pay them due diligence and show them that the Ministry still counted on them.

At today’s reception, which is traditionally organized on the occasion of 4th April – Police Day, Director Kostrešević said that the retired members of the Ministry are counted on just as much as it was counted on the active members.

‘We would like them to be at disposal for some new young police forces. We intend to show them that they still belong to the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior’, Director Kostrešević said.

Retired police officer, Mr Goran Šmitran, said that these receptions proved that the Ministry paid special respect to their retired employees. ‘It is nice to be remembered by our colleagues who are in active service and to exchange certain experiences with them, since the job of a police officer remained within us’, Šmitran said.

The reception that was organized in the facility of the Administration for police training, in Banja Luka, was attended by the following retired members of the Ministry: Saša Stupar, Željko Srdić, Zdravko Ružević, Goran Šmitran, Željko Udovčić, Mijodrag Jakovljević, Žarko Majstorović, Goran Zgonjanin, Zoran Polić, Mile Ljoljić, Vera Janjičić, Rado Petrović, Milivoje Vuković, Milovan Domazet, Rada Govedarica, Milidrag Draganić, Radoljub Vidaković, Đuro Mijatović, Damjan Trifunović, Stanoje Dimitrić, Milovan Jokić, Mladinko Đukić, Mile Ivanović and Goran Mašić.

On this occasion, Director Kostrešević awarded official identification cards to the retired members.
