EXHIBITION OF EQUIPMENT AND DEMONSTRATION EXERCISE

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, visited today the exhibition of police equipment and the demonstration exercise of the RS MoI members, organized today on Trg Krajine in Banja Luka, on the occasion of celebrating the Republic of Srpska Police Day, April 4th.
Minister Karan said that the exercise performed by the units of the Gendarmerie, Banja Luka Police Administration, the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry and the Republic of Srpska Helicopter Service showed all the citizens of the Republic of Srpska that they had a modern, strong and powerful police, able to face all the security and other challenges.
The minister said that the exercise was successful, because it showed that the RS MoI had adequate response in case of endangering security, life and the property of citizens, including police officers, and that one of the constant goals of the Ministry was increasing the citizens’ trust in police work.
Minister Karan pointed out the determination of the RS MoI to invest in material and technical police aids, their equipment and weapons, and raising the quality of police education, reminding the public of establishing the secondary school for education of police officers.
Numerous citizens, including children, visited the exhibition of equipment and the demonstration exercise.
