FOUR NEW VEHICLES DONATED BY THE OSCE MISSION TO BIH

Yesterday, in Sarajevo, the Head of Uniformed Police Administration of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Miloš Brkić, received four specialised vehicles for transport of K-9 police dogs donated by the OSCE Mission to BiH, as a part of the OSCE project: ‘’Addressing Security and Safety Risk of Illegal Possession, Misuse and Trafficking of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) and their Ammunition in BiH’’.

The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, previously signed the Agreement on the donation of vehicles for transport of K-9 police dogs, as a part of the third component of the OSCE SALW Project, which relates to the strengthening of the infrastructure for police dogs and K-9 dog handlers.

 The OSCE donation was also handed over to other law enforcement agencies in BiH, and a demonstration exercise with K-9 police dogs was held in which members of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior also participated.
