From May 15 to 26, as a member of the international organisation ’’Amber Alert Europe’’, the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior is implementing the campaign ’’Let’s Grow Safely’’, aimed at raising public awareness of the importance to protect children on their way home from school and back.
As part of the preventive campaign supported by the "Save the Children" organisation, police officers will hold lectures for the second-grade pupils in elementary schools, in which police officers will explain them how to behave properly on their way home from school and back, for example: they will tell children to avoid speaking to strangers.
In addition, as part of the campaign, information desks will be organised in city and municipal squares with the aim of educating adults about the steps they should take if a child goes missing.
Two promotional videos were created for the needs of this campaign and they can be downloaded via the official YouTube channel of Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjxW9Qz7mE4 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgjG7-6aG-o .
