DIRECTOR KOSTREŠEVIĆ IN A STUDY VISIT TO FRANCE

In the period from June 19 to June 21, 2023, the Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, is in a study visit to the Republic of France, organized by the EU Delegation, and in the framework of the project ”Improving Inter-Police Cooperation and Coordination”.
The objective of the visit was to strengthen the existing cooperation and continue enhancing the capacities of law enforcement agencies, with particular emphasis on coordination and cooperation of various police agencies, strategic and tactical planning, EU and international affairs, and migrations.
During the study visit, police directors visited different services of the of the French Ministry of the Interior, National Gendarmerie, Ministry of Justice, Joint Police Directorate and the Gendarmerie for Information and Communication Systems and other services.
The attendees had the opportunity to learn about the best practices in the operational work of the French national services, and about the cooperation in terms of security within EU and cooperation with non-member states.
They were also informed about the security threats and trends in organized crime, illegal migration and safe exchange of information in pro-active investigations.
Apart from Director Kostrešević, the representatives of other police agencies in BiH also attended the study visit.
