JOINT BiH CONTACT POINT FOR COOPERATION WITH EUROPOL BECOMES OPERATIONAL

The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, said today in Sarajevo that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior was one of the best Europol partners in BiH, having in mind numerous operations they carried out together, such as the operation code-named Transporter.
Director Kostrešević pointed out that the RS MoI, as well as other law enforcement agencies in BiH, finally had the opportunity to establish full cooperation with Europol and EU Member States.
As of today, our police officers have access to all the tools and analytical products provided by Europol as the most important police agencies for countering all types of organized and international crime.
The BiH liaison officer is a member of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior and he will represent all law enforcement agencies in BiH, thus becoming a part of the community of liaison officers at the Europol HQ.
