The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, attended in The Hague the European Police Chief Convention organized by Europol.
Some of the topics at the Convention were challenges in illegal migration, effect of organized crime, digital crime and cooperation with the private sector in countering cybercrime. The participants included chiefs of more than 50 law enforcement agencies, states, EUROPOL members and its partners.
Director Kostrešević expressed the readiness for cooperation with all police agencies in countering organized crime, emphasizing particular gratefulness to Europol for their support and the provided intelligence, since they had great importance in the investigations of the Republic of Srpska Police and in disclosure of the most serious criminal offences.
Director Kostrešević held bilateral meetings with the chiefs of police agencies from Slovakia and the Western Balkans countries.
