MINISTER KARAN IN AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO AUSTRIA

       The Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, made an official visit to Austria, where he visited the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Vienna. The Chief of the Representative Office, Mr Mladen Filipović, introduced the Minister with the activities of the Office.
          During his visit to Vienna, the Minister also met with the representatives of the Serbian diaspora. He told them about the positions of the Republic of Srpska related to the UN Resolution on Srebrenica, as well as other relevant topics in the Republic of Srpska, political trial against its President and the activities of Christian Schmidt, whose appointment was illegal.
        Minister Karan pointed out that the Republic of Srpska remained a stable and safe place for life, and that the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior remained a protector of all citizens and a guarantor of peace.
      He also met with the representatives of Serb cultural and economic associations acting in Austria, such as Austrian-Serbian Economic Forum, Austrian-Serbian Association with the ‘Pan’ Organisation, SCA ‘Prosvjeta’, Association of Serbs and others, who introduced him to his activities and challenges they encounter in their activities.
       During his stay in Vienna, Minister Karan also met with the representatives of the Austrian company ‘Foreus’, dealing with cyber security and the protection of critical infrastructure in cyberspace.
