The Head of Department for International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Ministry of the Interior, Mr Sanjin Šakić, chaired the 24th General Assembly of the Southeast European Law Enforcement Centre (SELEC) where the 25th anniversary of existence and activities of this law enforcement international organisation was also marked. The organisation gathers resources and the expertise of police and customs authorities joined in countering the more efficient cross-border organised crime in the region.
Director General of SELEC, Mr Oğuz Serkant Akin, awarded to the representative of the Ministry a certificate of appreciation for the support provided to the activities of this organisation over the last two and a half decades.
The Assembly General was also attended by the representatives of all 11 member states (BIH, Romania, Montenegro, Turkey, Greece, Albania, North Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia, Moldova and Bulgaria).
