MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE MINISTRIES OF INTERIOR OF SERBIA AND SRPSKA DURING THE TOURIST SEASON

The ministers of interior of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia, Mr Siniša Karan and Mr Ivica Dačić, signed today in Trebinje a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two ministries during the tourist season.
The Republic of Srpska Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, and the head of Trebinje Police Administration, Mr Siniša Laketa, also attended the meeting in PA Trebinje.
This is the first document that is the part of the implementation of the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serbian People, signed during the All-Serbian Assembly in Belgrade.
Ministers Karan and Dačić agreed that this Memorandum would contribute to the operational cooperation between the members of the two ministries during the tourist season.
Minister Karan said that the Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serbian People was a general, political document, but also an expression of political maturity and subjectivity of Serbs.
He pointed out that the Declaration was a document of peace and the hand of reconciliation to all the nations living in the region.
Serbian Minister of the Interior, Mr Ivica Dačić, stated today in Trebinje that the All-Serbian Assembly was a historically important date, because it was important to break the political and psychological barrier that you are no supposed to do something just to avoid another’s anger.
