Today, in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska Minister of the Interior, Mr Siniša Karan, and Police Director, Mr Siniša Kostrešević, met with the Republic of Serbia Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Mr Dejan Ristić.
They discussed the process of establishing of the emergency notification system in case a minor goes missing ‘Find me’ in the Republic of Srpska, and exchanged experiences in the aforementioned field.
Minister Ristić pointed out that the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia would provide all the necessary support for establishing the system ‘Find me’, in both advisory and technical aspect.
The activities of the Republic of Serbia National Contact Center for Child Safety on the Internet were presented, as well as the platform ‘Smart and Safe’ that promotes raising digital literacy, digital competence and digital security culture in all citizens of Serbia, so the options of cooperation in future were also discussed.
Today’s meeting resulted from the Declaration on the protection of national and political rights and joint future of Serbs, which was adopted at the All-Serbian Assembly, held on 8 June 2024, in Belgrade.
